Are appliances ever given away for free?
No, but all of our prices are reduced and reasonably priced.
Does Pivot Point repair appliances?
Yes we do! Similar to auto repair, when you bring your appliance to us we will do a full diagnostic review and detail repair costs prior to beginning work. Simply call 989.244.888 to schedule an appointment.
Is there a delivery fee?
No, there is a fee based upon mileage. We calculate the mileage from the shop to drop off location and figure in the delivery fee. However, we do pick up donated appliances for free! For more information on donating an appliance, click here.
Does the donated appliance need to be in working condition?
No, we accept working and nonworking appliances! Each donation has value and greatly contributes to our business and work program.

Does Pivot Point offer full-time employment?
No, our program is designed to be part-time and is used as transitional employment. Our participants are with us for 6 months or less and work 10-20 hours a week. We help them find employment and become a positive work reference for them.
